Can someone help me out with numbers for the Elbow. I fished Montauk on Sat and everybody was spread out pretty well. I think I was on the elbow(we caught bass) but I would like to know for sure. One funny thing my brother did - Took the parachute rig off the wire line and put it on his long beach. bounced it off the bottom and Bam biggest bass of the day 38" Then he lost the parachute to a blue fish so we don't know if it was luck or a productive new method!

If anybody can help out with those numbers - Thanks

Mike

THe Elbow

No, there was no Lobster pots near my drift. It was an incoming tide so we were going out past the light (south east) then drifting past the light heading in the direction of Shagwong. We were approx 3/4 to 1 mile from the light

Tripleplay

Jay, we stayed at Frisbees for only an hour, it was a slow pick - three guys fishing we mangaged 10 seabass and we only kept fish 13" or better. We move in to the Radar tower to try for Fluke but we could not buy one. We caught our Bass earlier and had a blast catch and release on the false albacore and blues. How did you do at Block with the seabass?

The fun pass has been renewed for this weekend. I am watching the weather to see if this storm wil be outta here by then. I will be staying out in Montauk the following weekend with my family, Of course I am bringing the Boat and I hope to get out at least Saturday 9/21

DO you keep your boat out there? I have been checking around for a slip but the prices are up there. Star Island 140 per ft, Snug Harbor 110 per ft. Got any suggestions?

Mike

MakoMike My buddy Steve said he thought it was further south but I disagreed, guess I was wrong! - Thanks!
