As some of you guys know, I have been going through a layoff/no work period since Late October. I'm currently working on a contract basis for a multi-billion company located in Westport CT. They have made me an informal offer to stay with them on a permanent basis. It's a generous offer that I can't refuse. So once they get it down on paper I'm going to accept it. Unfortunately, it means I'll have to move from Rhode Island, but I'm planning on leaving the boat where it is, at least in the short term.

Anyway, I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and their actual help in the job hunt.

Not real sure yet, somewhere close enough to Make Westport commutable. Probably somewhere in Fairfield County.

Sounds good! I used to work in Westport years ago in a building on the corners of Rte 33 and Rte 1, Art's deli on Rte 1 had the best roast beef heroes ever...lol. The original Stew Leonards is right down the road from you too.
