Thats it.
I'm fed up with all the anti-Obama anti-Democrat stuff on this site. Its seems like on every thread there is anti-Democrat stuff or attacks on Obama or all Democrats. Rarely do I see threads started which are antagonistic towards Republicans. Sure I may make a post here or there, but they are substantive posts and now "smears"
or potshots.
There are constant attacks on environmental restrictions placed upon corporations that are meant to preserve the oceans, forests and all those things we enjoy the most. It's also ironic, that this group, a bunch of fisherman and boaters who so very much enjoy their time on the water support activities which damage this environment which we enjoy.
The Demorcats restricting oil drilling fiasco, so frequently raised by Scott1280 is a prime example and something that pushed me over the edge. Its seems like a vast majority of people think that oil is in endless supply and to get more you simply drill more. If you want to believe that, fine, go ahead live in that fantasy. There is a limited amount of the stuff and when we run out, we run out that?s it.
Go ahead, let the corporations continue doing what they're doing. Give them massive tax breaks and tax the middle class to death, while those same corporations who get tax breaks outsource jobs to the entire world. Ford recently announced it's a building a new plant in Mexico to produce cars that will be sold in the U.S. Go ahead, let them do whatever they want.
Go ahead, eliminate Social Security and all social assistance programs. Who needs them. Let the poor starve, even if they are hardworking but can't find a job because that factory which provided an economic base has been shut down as those jobs have been outsourced. Let the elderly rot away, as they didn't make enough money while they were working. I guess they didn't work hard enough. Let wounded troops care for themselves. AFterall, its a volunteer military and it was their choice to enlist and get wounded.
Etc, etc, etc.
I'm done. I'm tired of being outnumbered and bombarded. I'm taking a Libertarian/Republican approach to things now. Leave me alone, don't bother me, let me do what I want and the heck with everything and everybody else.
