Any body get one yet. I'm looking to make two spinners one for me and the other for a fishing buddy, going to make 7 foot models for boat use. I would like to handle one before I order the blanks anybody Know anyone on Long Island who has one. Tried Causway and they do not.

I find that the local shops are aweful at carrying the really innovative gear. Case in point. Carrotstix, the rods made out of carrots. They are distributed in NJ and won ICAST 2 years ago. You would think that they would be everywhere. But the first time I saw them was at Tackledirect in the Somerset show. Best rod out there IMHO. Incredibly light, powerful and made out of renewable American resources. Beats the Lami TexMex by a mile and I haven't even seen them.
