I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck putting teasers further up the line when casting and jigging diamond jigs? I'm thinking about trying it toimorrow when I jig tomorrow. If it doesn't increase catches then I won't bother. I can use as teasers my hand tied bass teasers that i use in front of my bomebers in the surf (just simple white, white, white/chartreuse bucktails)or I could also use some plastic shads, but the shads would defintely cut down on the ability to cast the jig far. I will make a dropper loop in the main line and then attach a leader to the dropper loop. On this leader to the teaser, do you guys like tying tight onto the teaser or making a loop for the teaser to swing on?

In the 80's we used a surg. tube of different colors jigging Blues and Weaks. The tubes caught most of the Weaks back then. Then the bait tails were the secert weapon. The Blues have been good size that I have seen, I'll pass on two at a time. Slow bounce the bottom with your combo might shake a Bass from it's hiding place.
