Whats up fellas..

Question..how the **** do I switch out this weak treble I have on this popper, to one of my choice?

Sorry for the newbie question, I'm just tryin to get everything I need done before the 15th

post a pic of the popper and im sure someone cal tell you... in some cases you might have to cut the eye of the hook and take it off and the replacement will have a notch cut in it that you will have to sqeeze shut once the new hook is on... ive seen others that have a small keyring on it to easily switch out the hook

Oh well I figured that I could always just take a needlenose to the eyelet of the hook, unbend it and replace, but I didnt know if there was an easier way of doing it.

do yourself a favor go get a small pair of bolt cutter or if you have a dremal.use a table vise and strong plierers.alsoclick herealso click herevery helpful i spend hours doing searches on here

ahh i shoulda used replacing instead of switching/changing when i searched it..

causeway's got some good prices on vmc 4x strong trebles. get the appropriate split rings and the split ring pliers, you can do all the plugs that need it during one nyy game and itll be less than 30 bucks.

edit

and if the hooks are weak for whatever reason, either factory rigged crap or corrosion, i just grab the eye of the treble and the bend of one of the trebles with opposing pairs of pliers and start bending.
