We are haveing a swap meet before things get rolling this year. No venders, No tables, No commercial operators. Just a bunch of guys getting together one Sunday AM for a couple of hours at Captree and cleaning out the garage of all the fishing and boating related stuff you dont use any more. Bring a thermos of coffee and I'll bring the donuts. 9 AM Sunday March 30, east end of captree boat basin parking lot.

May I expand on your Idea?????

There has been some recent talk about
having a Tag Sale Fund Raiser for the "Take A Kid Fishing" program using donated no longer used Fishing Equipment

How about we get some big boxes and all meet at Captree with our retired items. The stuff will be sold at a "Fishermans Garage Sale" or one of the local clubs flea markets....
It would be a great gathering for a great cause and we all have junk to get rid of that could be of use to somebody else.

I will bring the Krispy Kremes, You bring the Dunkin Donuts.....

and We will have a "Taste Test"!!!!!!

I don't want to turn this into an "EVENT", It would be an opportunity to trade off some of those anchors, radios rods, reels, chain. lures, harpoons, gaffs, ect that are to good to throw away but we will never use.

Looks good guys Anyone else planning to show give me a heads up on this thread I'd like to get some idea how big a crowd we will have.
I've been rummageing around in my basement and so far I've come up with 10 rods, 4 reels, and two large tackle boxes full of assorted lures and other hardware, 4 umbrella rigs, cod jigs and tubes, and I havent started on the boating equip yet.

i recently bought my first boat, and i am looking for a few trolling set ups, but i dont have much to trade....would i possible be able to purchase from you guys?...who knows maybe ill pick up a few tips along the way too! i have learned a lot reading along with all of these threads, and im looking forward to a great season
