You just got caught up in the wrong club. I had my share of flounder, fluke, bass, weakfish,bluefish,shark,trout,pickerel,porgies,sea bass,baracuda, grouper, tarpon, snapper, carp perch crappie, sunfish.....etc. PLUS I learned new spots, met new freinds, and oh yeah, did the competition thing as well.

Kepp an eye peeled in this mag as well as the other Long Island mag, clubs that are looking for new members usually advertise an open meeting.
