Normally I would say yes but the dredgers have returned to the mouth of the Nissequogue River to complete the dredging project. Once their pumps started running in the Spring, the water turned brown and void of all life. I'd imagine that if any stripers or blues remain in the area, it would be very difficult to entice with any bait or lures because they will have full stomachs from all of the free meals being churned-up by the dredgers.
