I recently finished the basement so I could get the kids and all their toys out of my den. The downside is greatly reduced basement storage space. As is always the case, the wife and kids are running the house and my stuff comes last when it comes to storage. I manged to stake out a place to hang my rods, anybody have any brilliant suggestions for storing reels and tackle in limited space?

I keep my rods in home made rod racks. I buy 2" pvc pipe from any home center and cut 12" pieces. Take 1 x 2 wood furring strips and screw the pvc to the wood making " rod holders " for the ceiling. I works and is very inexpensive. I use this rack for my big game and it holds up well. Make sure you screw the 1x2 to the ceiling joists with 3" screws. Pre drilling is a good idea
Happy Holidays !
This is a great web site
