Fishing was good! Started on a wreck trying for Pollack and wreckfish, But with no wind and a strong current, it made it difficultto drift properly. Scrap that idea and went to some open bottom Tile fish. Started that at around 10am. Few nice fish each drift with a smattering of 5-10lbs as well. Around 3pm (last drift of course), all **** broke loose. I had 6 including a double header 10lbs per on last drift alone. Very Good way to end a good trip! Total for boat was over 125-150 goldens, 20-30 blue lines, few Pollack,and an small Porbeagle (released). I ended with 11 gold bars! Basking sharks all over!!! Very cool to see. Blue Sharks sniffing around everywhere! A guy jigging hooked up with either a Bluefin or a Blue shark. Took line till the backing, then broke off. Had 5 Blue sharks swimming around shortly after that trying to take tile fish off the hook for us! Be back next time for sure!
