Hello everyone !!!
I'm looking to replace a plywood board on which my electronics are mounted with something thinner and cleaner, like Starboard. Can you recommend anyone who does custom work like that?
It is not big as it only mounts a FF, Radar and GPS and they're all like 6' screens or so. None of them big boys.
Any information is greatly appreciated.

I have a number for someone at home. I can give it to you later after 6pm. He is out east on Long Island.

As far as something closer, I have no idea. I see you are located in Brooklyn. I can make a suggestion, most marine fabricators (leaning posts, t-top, and hard top makers) usually have the stuff. Maybe they can cut you a piece to size and you can install it yourself.

Either way, I'll put that # up here later today.

I had a project lined up last year for the boat......until I ran out of money, LOL.

I want to make a big fish cleaning/bait/general use table for the back of the boat, complete with a running-water hookup, basin and drain. I figure to cut it up on the table saw, and use the most compatible caulk and stainless steel screws & hardware. The stuff's expensive, and I think the BoatUS store is the only place I saw it. Is there any other stores around selling it cheaper?

Hey guys...I have used Timmy before. He does nice work. He might even have some scrap laying around you could get reasonable.

He makes anything you want out of starboard. He makes some custon tackle boxes also.

Does Windshield work also. He also can bend it all.

I even had me order new windows for a Trojan that I had for half the price of othere dealers.

What I would suggest and he will tell you the same is make a templete of what you need.

I would use him again anytime but call him first to amke sure he is there. Sometimes he runs out for a job. But do it now before he gets swamped with work.

Great guy & very knowledgable.He makes some nice stuff,His tackle boxes are A+.My buddy also uses him.Can't say anything but Qaulity.

I've used Descon International in West Babylon 631 253-4090. He cut me a good deal.
Island Wide Plastics does nice work but I think is overpriced.
Especially if you only want to buy the Starboard Descon is cheaper.
