I'm going to be headed down to the st. pete area in early to mid march to visit my folks who are down there for the winter. Looking for some suggestions on party boats locally up to clearwater or south to sarasota that are family friendly that maybe we can take my 4 yr old son for a 1/2 day trip. Anybody got any ideas???

I think the Viking Fleet has a boat in Tarpon Springs that may fit your needs.

In St. Pete, there's the Miss Pass-a-Grille.

In Madeira Beach there's Hubbards.

In Clearwater the Queen Fleet and Double Eagle Fishing fleet offer 1/2 day trips.

All are family friendly, but saw more caught on Clearwater 1/2 days in comparison to the other two ports. Don't forget, the Viking Gulfstar offers 1/2 day trips in Tarpon Springs on nearly a daily basis. Great greek food in that area when you return!!
