"squid catching?"

Hey Fishman we just recently had a few topics on this subject, Do a seaech at the top of the page with the word squid and weed through the posts, Here is a recent one....

I've never had a problem catching them, when they're around on the yozuri squid jigs. I do know some guys that use a small casr net to catch them and I've seen it work. Catches more faster than the squid jig, but you have to learn how to throw it.

See this site for some photos of squid jigs. They work great; I've caught probably 20 or 20 pounds of squid on jigs like these at night in the Sea of Cortez. The squid attack to jig and get stuck on the little barbs and the come right off once in the boat.
