Has/Does anyone use a sputnik sinker.. If so how well do or don't they work.. Just curious I usually use pyramid sinkers and for the most part they hold fine, but there are times where a 5-6 ounce won't hold good
try 9 ounce hatteras sinkers they look like pyramid with ***** on bootom ...sputniks are hard to get around here and if you find em top dollar .... also get a chunking rod that can do more than 12 ounces ....in the fall you will need it ...take care tight lines
I have a 5 oz sputnik that I use when I have to. Yes, they do hold, however they dig in so that they have a tendency to get buried over making it difficult to pull up.
i think they are a waste of $
They work but so do pyramid
ps
a lot of guys I chunk with will start chunking with 8 ounce and go up to 12 (and a bunker head).I carry one 6 ,three 8, two 10 and one 12.
