Can anyone recomend a quality charter who targets spring blackfish anywhere off a LI or CT? I know many charters don't target them too much in the spring. Thanks

Okay Thanks I know they are awesome in the fall for blacks but didn't realize they target spring blacks too. I am also looking to book a 4-6 man charter too! thanks again!

Capt. Cary Palmer operates The Lori C out of Stonybrook and is an excellent choice for 4-6 people, he also does split charters.

Celtic Quest!

Have to give another vote for the Celtic Quest if you're looking to tog in the Sound.

I haven't fished on his boat yet, but I've fished with Cary when he works deck on the Shinne**** Star, I'll bet he'd be a good choice also

It may not be as bad as it seems

Most of those fish are breeders. I think they could have given you a few more weeks. Even though it S*#%ks it still saves those females that are full of roe. I think a better rule could have been no Females be kept during May. I think most fisherman could agree with that. I'm not sure if anyone suggested that if not maybe someone should.
