Has anyone tried spoons or plugs trolling for Bluefin, and what were your results?

P.S. Lets try to get a little more inthousiasm (sp) into this dissusion board or we're going to loose it. Not to long to go (May for shark-June for Tuna HOPEFULLY!) Not to long to go, but it sometimes seems years away!

I have some plugs but I haven't given them a try yet. I have some Braids, Yozuri's and some Mann's plus some silver spoons. Will try them this year and let you know. Thanks for the imput!

TUNA PLUGS

Thanks Paulie and Capt. Jack for the reply! I'm always looking to try something different on the down time to try to kick up some fish.

P.S. Paulie-I got one of the large power handles for the Okuma, and am anxious to try it. I loaded it up with 400yds. 40# test Berkley Big game which I will use in a clamp on rod holder on a grab rail(like a top or center rigger) trolling for Bluefin or whatever. Wish me luck!

Safety lines

I already have the safety lines and always use them on rods in those holders. I also just put a Penn ringed rod clamp on the Okuma.
