Hello Guys-

Happy New Year to All!

Looking for an endorsement on a fishing guide in the area of Southwest Florida say Ft. Meyers, Pine Island, Sanibel. We are going to Cape Coral for 10 days in February and I have never been. I have no idea what is available in February but would like to spend a day on the water.

If anyone has a good guide they can recommend, I would really appreciate your input!

23seacraft, I have fished the Pine Island area, but always out of Punta Gorda, which is about a 20 minute drive North from Cape Coral. There is a place in Punta Gorda Isles called Fisherman's Vilage. They offer a wide range of fishing/boating services. Try www.fishville.com

Great fishing in that area.

I just returned from Sanibel and fished w/ Paul Hobby. It was all inshore flyfishing for redfish, snook, seatrout and ladyfish. He's a good guide and if you want to do this type of fishing I'll give you his #.

Don't forget Boca Grande, the tarpon capital of the world. Any of the Captains at the waterfront will put you on them.
