Looks like maybe all the recent rumors of the NEW Curado "E" series have some validity. Maybe a 100-size reel with both HEG gearing and the line capacity of the 200D. This has to be the world's fastest redesign of a reel series. Guess the D-series was too large and too heavy for our sweetwater brothers' liking.
And of course, that's why I just received my "old" oversized 200D-5 with that nice $50 factory rebate. Nothin' for nothin' in this world, that's for sure. Oh well, my D is a beautifully engineered piece, well worth what I paid for it.
