That's the best price I've ever seen form an OJ5000P. I'm posting it so that someone else buys them up and removes the temptation. I really don't need this reel, but I lust for it. I'm going to try and resist buying it as an excercise in self control. That, and I really don't feel like spending a leasurly Sunday afternoon carefully trimming a five-stack of Carbontex washers to fit the OJ.

That's an incredible deal especially with the yen to dollar spread now.


I get over 400yrds of 80 lb braid on mine and the cranking power is astounding. Nice and narrow too.

I like OJ5000P. Many guys like OJ4000P for jigging as it has narrower spool. But I found the line capacity for 4000P are barely enough for big tuna as 4000P is equivalent to Trinidad 40N.
That is a real good deal.
