Any opinons? I saw the GPS 95CP at the Si-Tex booth and thought it was nice as a back-up unit. It's small enough to flushmount with my gauges. If anyone has this or another Si-Tex chartplotter I'd like to know what you think. I have not seen another unit this small so other brands are not an option. I have a Garmin as the primary.

Looks like a nice unit, looks very similar to the furuno Gp-32?, but the sitex is a color chartplotter, not just a gps data reciever.

Agreed that it does resemble the FURUNO GP-32!

If size is a consideration, look at the Garmin GPS 276 Map. It is actually a bit smaller than that that Si-tex (not including antenna).

Since you have a Garmin already, and you are familiar with it, why not stick with one?

Never saw that Sitex unit anywhere (looks like a new unit), but for a chartplotter I would definitely choose a Garmin over Si_Tex hands down. Even if only for a backup. Now if you were talking about fish finders, I would choose a Si-tex before a Garmin unit.
