Right now the weekend winds don't look good but I wouldn't count yourself out yet. Its only Wed and the forecast will probably change a dozen times between now and Sunday.

I have reservations on the Superhawk's Seabass trip for Sat. But, so far it looks like a no-go. However, the weather (more specifically) the winds may change by then (i hope).

What... Me??? Why Worry???

DandJ... come up to Maine a little early on the 15th of Feb. We can head a little east of Bakers. I know a great little camp road over by Sheepscot lake. We can put out tip ups on a drop off into the deep water, drown some smelts or chubs, and fish for some Lake Trout. We dont worry about weather and cancelled trips here. Just sit in the car, read a book, and watch for flags from the driveway. Mark

PS. Bring your snow shoes and ice cleats.

But because of my current schedule i will not be able to get up there much before early afternoon, at which time i'll be checking into the Hotel and trying to get a few hours rest before hitting the Ice. I usually do a "Lot" of Icefishing down here but because of the warm weather we do not have any safe ice and i don't expect much, if any at all this season. Really stinks, as i do enjoy my Icefishing.

However, The Superhawk only does these offshore trips on Fri-night/Sat, and Sat night/Sun. The current forecast for Sat and Sun does not look good.

I just got off the phone with steve and we said he still needs a few more people for the sat. trip, I hope we get them .

Any idea of how many we have so far? When i booked we had 10 or 11 with the two that i sent him besides myself. Hope we get enough to sail as well.

Steve sailed 12/3 with 13 that trip for Sunday. 7 1/2 Hrs ride started fishing 6:3o AM. I thought I had a good trip he said could have been better.
