yesterday
was out there yesterday just before the sun went down....there was the most massive amount of birds working that I had ever seen. Thousands of em working right smack in the middle of the inlet. I decided to take my chances, even with all the "Keep out signs". Went out to the ocean end of the jetty, and within my first 4 casts had 2 blues and 2 short weaks. Unfortunatley, the wind turned into right into my face and i had to call it a night. Considering I was only there about an hour, i'd say the first 5 minutes made it an all around good day. Was using a greenish colored crippled herring, but with the blitz going on i think i could have casted out a rotten potato and caught something. LOL
