i hit the bay yesterday afternoon at 4 for the first time this year. i b.s. with a couple of fishing buddies for an hour watching the guys herring fish the footbridge. the bite was very slow but they did have a few. i then went and fished one of the piers with plugs and a herring rig while keeping an eye on the footbridge. nuthin goin on. i stayed until 8 but i wish i could have stayed longer. the tide was just right,****! i might try again tonight. tight lines!!
