So, with the start of the 2008 Major League baseball season upon us I wondered when the Noreast gang would be kicking off their seasons??

State Parks beaches open tomorrow. Anyone fishing them??

I have my maiden trip of the year set of Saturday 4/5 but I could be talked into going earlier

Let's hear it, who's startin' when ????

Hey Surf... been up to the hudson river 2x, made my first "Long Island" trip yesterday, scouting and blackfishing under some hampton Bridges.. Stopped at Shinne**** Canal, seal in there and shot down to Moriches Inlet, TONS of seals on the East Cut, and the Osprey nest had a mating pair in the nest.. No fish, didn't see any bait, dug up some nice worms over by the old Ponquogue bridge..

I'll be out flounder fishing on Wednesday afternoon, Smith point area..

But even that hardpan on the East side can sometimes be a bit tough on the teeth!!

I planned on hitting the back bays for sun up tomorrow, but me new back bay rod didn't come in yet. Next week for sure.
