Hi Everybody: FishermanWalter & I got Invited to do some SeaBass & Fluke Fishing with Capt.Nicky of the MakoMadness out of Gone Fishing Marina in Montauk yesterday. The Weatherman said Beautiful Sunny Skies with a High Temperature of 82 Degrees & we were fishing the day of the Full Moon. Our SunRise was at 6:23 AM & Our SunSet was at 7:27 PM. Low Tide was at 2:51 AM & High Tide was at 8:57 AM. The Marine Forecast called for North Winds at 10-15 Knots with Gusts up to 20 Knots in the Morning, Becoming NorthEast this Afternoon with Seas of 2-3 Feet.

We had alittle bit of a late departure today due to the Starter on the boat, but with all that solved we were on our way to the Fishing Grounds & arrived at the Inner Frisbees around 10:15 AM. We had a Wonderful SeaBass Bite that lasted until 1:15 PM catching 32 SeaBass but only keeping 18, with the Biggest Caught by FishermanWalter at 18 Inches, 3 Fish at 17 1/2 Inches reeled in by Capt.Nick, & 2 more SeaBass at 17 Inches Caught by yours truly. We didn't keep 1 SeaBass under 14 1/2 Inches, so they were all fat ones.

At 1:15 PM we took a break, had our lunch, & at 1:30 PM Capt.Nicky headed to Cartwright to try & get us some DoorMat Fluke. On the OutGoing Tide the drift was pretty fast, so we switched up, using anywhere between 8-10 Ounces. Capt.Nicky ended up getting a Keeper Fluke at exactly 19 1/2 Inches, & I hooked into a Real Nice Keeper Fluke between 6-7 Lbs. on our very Last Drift. From reading the previous reports, it seemed like there was a **** of a bite during the Incoming Tide at CartWright. It doesn't bother me that we missed that Bite because the 3 of us were all satisfied with a wonderful bag of some nice tasting fillets for the table.

I'd like to thank Capt.Nicky once again for the invitation to fish with him, & of course for also inviting FishermanWalter. It's a thrill to fish at the Mecca, Montauk Point, whenever I get the opportunity. Until Then, Please Keep Safe Out There, Catch Them Fish, & GOD BLESS.....
