My son requested we switch from the surf to party boat early this am, headed down to SHB to see which boats had 1/2 day trips. Looked longingly at the Ocean Eagle going out for blackfish but was the good dad and we jumped on the for f1/2 day flounder. Got to the grounds but didn't see a single flounder come up with the fleet of boats there.
Had bunker in the bag for the surf and chunked it up for my son, he got his wish to "battle the blues" and pulled in 3 chopper bluefish and won the pool.
Great crew and fishermen on board made for a great day for my son and me. Only small dissapointment for him was that Captain "Quint" wasn't piloting the boat.
