Saw a big round head in the water the last couple of times I went out fishing at the north inlet side and south ocean side of WE2 early in the morning. It pokes it's head out of the water, looks around and then disappears into the water. Too far away to make out a body but the head was the size of a duck. Is it a sea otter or something else? Or have I been waking up too early too often?

Hi.

There has been a group of seals inside Shinne**** for over a month. They lounge on the sand bar at low tide. I think they dine very well in that area.

My guess seals in your area also.

Thanks. Seals don't like yellow bombers do they? I would hate trying to take the hooks out of one.

They dont like yellow bombers and are really smart critters but I think they spook the fish when theyre around.
