Tried some not so offshore wreck hunting to see who was home. Turned out Mr. Cod was and though we didn't get the numbers like previous trips, the size more than made up for it today. Big one was around 30 lbs and we lost another that was even bigger feet from the boat. Even though it's beeen a great summer for cod around here, I can't wait for the blackfish to start.
