CAN ANY TELL ME IF IT IS SAFE TO CLOSE OF THE ABOVE WATER SCUPPER VALVE HOLE??? THE REASON IS THE ONES ON IT NOW IS LEAKING AND I CAUNT GET THE ORIGINAL ONE FROM SEARAY. I TRY WEST MARINE BUT THEY CAUNT HELP. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT BEST TO DO. THANKS BOLO

What are you getting water flowing back into the boat?
Theyre " check valves ".
Get the ball type and mount them from the dock with a cordless drill & some 5200.
The " flap " types sometime let water back in & wear out quicker.
I'd be suprised if you cant find the right match to the very ones on the boat now, but you could epoxy or 5200 the old holes and mount new ones as mentioned.
Having a path for water to egress is important if you take one over the bow.
