I left the dock at high tide this morning later than I would have liked intent on catching some flounder. When I got to my spot it decided to throw some Berkley Gulps and an X-rap in towards the marsh. I'm glad I did! It didn't take long to connect with my first bass of the year, an 18 incher. I ended up with six bass between 16 and 22 inches. I missed a few and had a few follow the lure right to the boat. One fish that did so looked like it might have been a keeper, and if it wasn't it was real close. I left them biting to anchor up and try the flatties but no takers. I'm going to look for some bigger bass tomorrow. Tight lines! <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=178751" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> More and bigger are on their way! |
