I have a scanner. How do I scan and post a pic on a discussion board? Please explain it in simple terms since I am computerally challenged.

Tried the above (Prior Topic). I scanned, labeled it with identifying words, did the jpg route, and then posted message from box below, and got nothing. Nothing shows up of my pic except in My Documents on my Dell.

after you scan the picture or pictures they should automaticly go into an image folder,bring that folder to the desktop open it up and you should be able to change it from tiff or whatever format it is to jpeg,,leave it in jpeg format and on your desktop,,when you are ready to send it hit the browse icon and it should show up in the icon box then send it and see what happends try that and get back to me, write to me every detail of how your going about doing it formats etc,,

I don't really know what to tell you. It sounds like you did things correctly. Are you finding the correct file, using the browse button for images that appears when you go to make a post?

If you still have problems, email me the pic and I'll see if I can post it and then we can work from there.

It was the first Picture I could find to scan and post.I took them while trying to teach my 13 y/o son how to cut fish.... you don't want to see the rest of the instructional pictures!
Besides, I don't allow cameras on my boat(Bad Luck)and I don't carry one in my Party Boat bag for the same reason.
Ahhh... I never catch anyhing worth taking a picture of anyway! LOL
