Decided to try the yak today. Good thing because the wind was in my face from shore---not too good for casting - was going to fly but kept it in the truck- when the boat goes in I'll be flying more often. for now spin is in. Dropped in from 2:00pm -4:30pm -Low @ 4:35pmish. -very over cast day -wind outta the north @ 10-18. -choppy - had to paddled against. -favorite tree in bloom Had 3 bass - ( 12",13",24")all in the 1st hr and a half- then nada. tons of Bunker around- 2 fish hit @ the boat- I mean right @ my feet. when the 24" hit I watched him hit the lure! and run!- I let out a a big WHOA! as he dragged me around. I thought I had a keeper by the way the drag went off. got him in quick. then when I went to release him - he was ready - but didn't want to leave????? ok, time to go buddy- I know your'e ready - took a pict. as he seemed to pose and bye - he turned away - a gave a slight touch to his tail and torpedoed into the abyss. this fish really made my day- -2 Opsreys diving hard on the Bunker -wow -everthing seems even greener than yesterday. -1st test w/ new paddled-worked so much better(light). pd <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=81952" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> |
