The Little Neck Bay demo on 7/13 was a smashing sucess! Jon and Joey brought several of the most popular models, and several dozen kayakers (potential kayakers?) took advantage of the opportunity to try them in the water.

The water was flat, the weather cooperated with bright sunshine, and just enough breeze to keep the insects away. It was nice to see old friends, as well as faces that were only screen names before.

Next time, don't miss the opportunity! Thanks Jon and Joey for a class act!

So glad the reports are already coming in, I knew it would be great and a great success... and I am still at the office writing a brief ... No, not looking for sympathy, just a promise you guys will do it again - of all the weekends I had to work/miss my chance to demo @#%&*!&*^@%(&^%(@!

I want to thank everyone for their help. Flounder for letting people know, Flyrodder and mrsinbad for helping us unload, and I'm sorry (I'm terrible with names) the gent who's getting the Ride, for helping us load back up along with Magilla. It was a fun time and even with the difficult logistics of LNB it went well.

We will have another demo day in western LI. We're planning it for mid month and it will be over at Manorhaven Park. mrsinbad is a resident and he's going to set it up. We'll do a contest too, raffles, barbecue, etc. We'll make an event of it.

It was a perfect day for a demo. Met some great people there. I'm looking forward to hooking up with some of you. So now I'll have to save my money cause my second kayak will be a Tarpon with a rudder.

Sorry guys, I missed it. My car broke down at the KMart parking lot after I had bought some leads for my lines.
Towed to mecanic. Transferred yak to other car, got there between around 12:30, left by 4.
