Hey IK
IK- I am a student at PSU and we have yet to catch a salmon....we fish everyday in the river and have caught smallies, pike, browns, walleye, bullhead, perch, those big ugly suckers, but no salmon yet, maybe this afternoon we will pull one out???? It would be a good call to bring a rod along and try a few spots like the mouth, the pine street pool behind the pig station, or the imperial dam....the dam is as far as you will see salmon if they are running and most of our fish have been between the dam and the mouth especially the quality fish....you never know what you will pull up next thats whats great about this place. Best of luck to ya! Im headed to old forge this weekend to land some big trout.
