Do you think running the generator while chunking night has a negative impact on the tuna biting?

I used to think the same thing up untill last year. We were fishing the 100 square...chunking at night with the genny running...Rock cd's at ear bleading volumes, spreaders and 4 underwater lights going...It was basically a rock concert in the canyon! We were bailing tuna like crazy!!! In fact...we got so tired and lazy we didnt even bother hiding hooks in the bait anymore...Just a gammi HD through the back of a butter and HOLD ON!!!

On the flip side, I will mention this:
It was actually the previous trip, we were marking big fish and bait but couldnt get a bite. We even spotted fish running through the lights...NOTHING...Then, we tried turning off the underwater lights...BANG!!! 1,2,3,4 and then a 5th rod goes off. Chaos! An hour later someone put the lights back on and the bite shut off immeadiately.

I know I got a little off topic...sorry. I guess running the genny while drifting or tied up overnight (hours on end) is never a bad idea...we all do it and we've all caught fish.
