rudders

ok another question is a rudder nessasery and what advantage is there with it.i was out with a freand he had one on his and said he felt a differance with it in/on and out/off of the water.i fish mostly fast moveing water.sorry for all the questions just trying to get this down so i can get back to night fish i dont like fishing in the daytime anymore.

Rudder

personally, I prefer a rudder. a big help fishing in the tides and wind. I find it keeps you on track better. With a fast tide, you can just sit back and steer.I guess it could also depend on the length of your kayak?
I went with a steering rudder for my 17'. Pics attached. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the compliment rac37.....! :)

It was two years of weekend construction with endless hours of sanding. First splash was late last summer. Looking forward to more time in the water this year.
