Hi,
I am looking for a tape for the grip on a rod that is being built for me. The tape I want is "european" it is rubber looking, black in color, with bumps. I got a loomis surf series with this grip and I love it, and I want it on my new lami.

Hi Matt,

Try Home Depot, my local store carries it in gray.

It by 3M, comes in different widths and is sold by the foot. I think it is called safety tape or something like that. It is used on stairs or docks etc where you don't want someone to slip.

No, I know what safety tape is, this is specificly a grip for fishing rods. It feels like rubber with a few "fleks" of rubber on the surface.
