The "Best" Setup?

What is a good rod and reel set up for inland fluke and weakfishing ?

Sneaky,
The best set up is what is best for you and your budget.
How much do you want to spend?
Where do you fish from?
How deep is the water?
How much lead or bucktail weight do you use?

I have a few ideas for you if you give up some of the above info.....

My favorite set up for this is a Shimano Calcutta 251, on a 7' BPS Inshore Extreme medium action rod, with 10-lb braid.

I pretty much use that same set up, only I put on 20lb braid......the drag is never set that tight but the stuff is so thin I figure what the ****.

For my bottom rigs I like a ugly stick 1160mh paired with a Penn 85 or 285. Pink Ande 20 pounds works well.

Spinner Ugly Stick 1166-1mh with a penn z12 12 pound test ande green or pink..
