I was able to get out in Rocky Point on Monday and Tuesday morning during the low tide. The water is still very cold and I only had a Sea Robin to show for my efforts. I heard that the are getting the occasionally schoolie off the beach, but not many.
Smith Point Bridge I went there Monday night for the sunset and got skunked. The boats and surfcasters weren't having any luck either. I went back this morning and thanks to the Tsunami Warning there were no boats. I wound up catching and releasing 8 monster blues that dragged me around for a while. It didn't look like the surfcasters were having much luck, but hopefully soon enough for them.
