I'm planning on taking couple friends out fishing this evening(7/3) but because I haven't been doing too well lately in this region, I'm not too confident on where to go to increase my chances of hooking into some fish. One of my friends has been out 5 times this year and has not landed a single fish and I really want to help out. Also because the evening tide we plan to fish will be low tide, I feel doubly stumped. And this hot weather....
Again, we plan to fish locally in the Rockaways area. Type of fish? striped bass, fluke, weakfish, even bluefish...
Any recommendation would be appreciated
