There are many ways you can fish for weakfish. Here are some of the easiest ways to target them along the North Fork areas.
1) A 5? swimming plug with a teaser working along the water column.
2) A small yellow bucktail or jelly worm working along the bottom.
3) A high rig (dropper loop) tipped with a squid strip or whole sandworm.
Any of these methods should help you connect to those feisty weakfish.
