Fishermen talk a lot of smack. I think that is a common trait.

How many times have you been out on the boat fishing and either one of your buddies or someone else on the boat is talking a lot of smack?

I think it is just a part of Fishing.
To me the Lounge is like being out on a PB with a bunch of your buddies talking smack.

A few guys think that a lot of the threads here are silly and immature, and that nothing of any value is exchanged in the Lounge.

I think it's just the opposite. It's fun. I have read some hilarious stuff here, and a lot of the guys (and gals) are funny as ****.

And when things get serious, like in game of life thread or others, I have not seen one person here not be as understanding and supportive as is possible over the internet.

Sure there are different politics, opinions, egos, and the like, but that is what it's like in any community.

Thanks folks and thanks NE for the forum...

and now back to smack..LOL...

How did you know they call me Fredo??I didn't...it's just an extension of Sinkerbouncer's 'Sortino' gag

we all do talk smack; I was thinking about that over the weekend. someone who didn't know us might think we were quite rude to one another...after all, why would a 'friend' post a picture of another friend as his vessel was being towed into a raft-up?
