Hi SanPan,

As you may know… Rhode Island is land of many big bass and it's also a small town. ;)
The truth of the matter is… The bass are IN and willing. By now you should know me that I target big fish (wherever they swim)… In fact, I will be there next week to hit the suds and boat. (hint - hint)

Hello MakoMike,

I've thought about visiting you but I am not the designated driver this time. Also, I will be arriving at Rhode Island sometime around 2-4am and heading out ASAP (before first light). Afterwards I have another appointment...

I'll give you a ring and let's coordinate... It's been a long time pal. :)

My $0.02...

To date the South County beaches and breachways have been S-L-O-W, even for the herring slingers.

Most of the action has been inside the breachways, with herring and needlefish plugs s-l-o-w-l-y worked at night (parrot is the killer color).

Not much of a worm hatch has developed in the salt ponds (from what I can gather) except near Pt. Judith.

Narragansett Bay should be heating up, hopefully.

Better off in a boat IMO.
