Does everyone hate writing reviews as much as I do??:(:(:(

We have a 360 dgree review process wherebye you review your peers and you select who you want yo review you. Then there's the self review, where you get to say how great you are....;););)

This year is not too bad, only have to write about 10 of them. Thankfully my staff is all consultants so I don't have to review them. Still a pain in the a$$!

OK, time to stop procrastinating and get back to work....

Thats the problem,.....:rolleyes: We do the reviews, and if they get 2 bad ratings they can lose their incremental raise..........after 3 they can be terminated.:rolleyes:
Problem is, the dam union jumps in and Human Resources always gives the employees "one more chance"....time after tiime after time..........:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Our service ratings are really worthless...............:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:............they just do them so they can say they do them...........

A below average or above average rating in our company requires a final approval of a Sr. VP and HR before the review can be given to the employee.

While I have to do reviews on 8 direct reports, they have to do reviews on 90+ employees.

We use a program called Performance Now. It allows the manager to rate his employees on a scale of 1-5 on many different catagories pertaining to our company. Once complete, the manager submits the review and the program provides the correct wording. It can then be presented to the employee for the final one on one review with their manager.

Geez Gary 36!
I think I would kill myself.

In our process each person is required to review their direct manageras well as whichever peers select them. Managers review their peers as well aw doing manger summaries, which are a compilation of the various peer reviews fo a particular employee. It's good that, in theory, your manager can't screw you with a bad review.
