Why are some people able to post reports, and we cannot respond to them.
I see a certain charter boat always posting a magnificent report when EVERYONE including myself is in the same location catching nada ! I did not think this was meant to be free advertising. In fact, it annoys me. What is you opinion?

We leave the option of allowing discussion on posts up to the user posting the report. I suggest you skip the posts in question.

WHY ?

Why would you give that option?
I think it allows some people to mislead others. If someone posts a bogus report day after day, obviously just to fill his or her charter boat I think we should be able to respond to that.

We give that option to allow people to post a report without having to respond to questions, comments, and your accusation is a prime example of why it was incorporated into the site.

It?s not up to us as a website to judge whether or not someone is telling the truth, we leave that up to the individual that is reading the report. And if a captain is building his or her business on lies, they probably won?t be around too long.

For the reason George posted as well as many of the negative questions and comments people post when they feel not enough information was provided.
