Has anyone got a copy of the old freshwater regs from way back in the day .


I dont know when the 1st freshwater regs came to pass but I am interested in the progression from no regs to the current regs

Anyone know 1st hand what it was like or have old ny freshwater regulation books hanging around wuth your old fw licensee

Call the DEC,or stop down at the stonybrook office, they have plenty of literature, and im sure they would know where you would find old regs.

As a kid in NYS during the late 1960's I remember trout season April 1 to Sept. 30, 10 fish per day at least 7".
If there were other size and bag limits on fresh water fish, I didn't know them.

Stripe Bass 16" and no limit????? (I think)
Fluke 14" and no bag limit.
Flounder any size and keep all you want.

I may have some old NYS booklets in my mother's house. If I can find something, I'll post it.
