First off,
I want to thank Lep,Billy40 and last but not least Capt. Neil for their help and time.I ended up purchasing a Lamiglas TFX7040 CT.With my heat pump going and forking out a few grand for a new one; unexpectedly. And needing to purchase a reel for this setup; it hindered from spending what I wanted on one of their customs(Billy40,Capt Neil). But XMAS is around the corner and hopefully santa(wife and family) will be good to me this year.
Here's what I am looking at for reels to match up with this rod.Going to be using 50lb test Spiderwire Stealth.
I am looking at the Torium TOR14,Tekota 500 and the Saltist STT20H in the conventional and level wind.Have'nt found to much for writeups on the new saltist 20 levelwind on here.
Thought about upgrading the drag with carbontex drag.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm still up in the air about my reel choice.Narrowed it down to the Daiwa Saltist 20.Would probably do a drag upgrade with the Carbontex drag washers.Should make 20lbs drag.Or get the Avet MXJ 5.8:1.Again this will go on a Lamiglas 7040CT.Using the setup for blackfish, seabass and maybe take it up to New Hampshire and do some party boat fishing for Haddock(as a bait setup).
Any thoughts?
Then Saltist 20 is 16.5oz to the Avets 18oz.Not overly worried about it.Just not sure.Especially if I decide to eventually use the reel for other species.

I have a Tekota 500 and a 600, and they are great reels. Super Smooth, they have a really comfortable handle, and theyre fairly light in weight. My international 975, calcutta and other conventionals were barely used this season. I highly recommend the tekotas. I am also a fan of the toriums as well. I like the lever drag and will probably be buying very soon. I dont have much experience with the Daiwas but they seem heavy for their size.
