Headed out to the local reef in the very small weather window at 7 AM morning, wound up having some of the best black fish action of the season and were back at the dock by noon. Very funny bite today, the first 20 minutes we couldn't get a scratch , then we get a 5 LB fish and it was like someone rang the dinner bell becuase for the next two hours it was almost a suicidal bite. The 3 of us just kept a few of the smaller fish and released A LOT of the larger fish for another day. Whites and calicos were the bait of choice today. They really had the weather right today for a change because by 11 AM it really started blowing and the inlet was very interesting with the hard outgoing and West wind. Good luck! <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=185042" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> Catch |
