Hi Ralph,

Are you wrapping over the same area? If so you can hit the area with 400 or 600 grit wet paper and alcohol. Just do it lightly.

Sometimes a finger nail moving over the area as the blank spins is effective.

Hi,

I would try wiping the area with a paper towel soaked with acetone. Wear gloves and do in a ventilated area.

If that doesn't work, I think it will, try a scuff pad. don't use a lot of pressure.

If you scuff pad the entire blank, clean with isopropyl alcohol 91% and paper towel, then you can apply a thin coat of finish epoxy.

However, I would install the wraps and guides before epoxying the blank area.

If a problem arises get me on the land line.

I think it will come out just fine.
